VFA to host debate on medical civil liability

On 13 May, VFA will host a debate on Medical Civil Liability.

The event will be led by lawyers Bruno Martelo (Public Law) and Carlos Vasconcelos (Health Law and Litigation) and is part of the second edition of the “Discurso Direito”* conference series.

The initiative will take place in Porto and will focus on medical civil liability in both the public and private healthcare sectors.

The debate is aimed at healthcare professionals, hospital administrators, consultants, entrepreneurs in medical services, and anyone with a particular interest in sharing knowledge and ideas on the subject.

Launching this VFA initiative, Carlos Vasconcelos, the lawyer in charge of the firm’s Porto office, notes that “medical civil liability is an increasingly pressing topic, as shown by the rise in litigation seen in recent years.”
