Paulo Valério in Italy for Advanced Seminar

Paulo Valério, partner at VFA and Executive Director of APDIR (Portuguese Association for Insolvency and Recovery Law), will participate this week in the Advanced Seminar: Business Law in the Civil Code Reform, held in Florence, Italy, from November 27 to 29.

The event, organized by the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (PUC PR), gathers some of the most prominent experts in the field of insolvency, including academics, lawyers, Justices of the Brazilian Superior Court of Justice, appellate judges, and judicial administrators.

Paulo Valério’s lecture is scheduled for Friday, November 29, and will focus on the “Portuguese System of Business Recovery”, showcasing the experience and particularities of Portuguese legislation at this international event.

The seminar’s scientific coordination is led by Professors Alexandre Nasser de Melo, Daniel Carnio Costa, Eduardo Oliveira Agustinho, and João de Oliveira Rodrigues Filho.

With the reform of the Brazilian Civil Code at the forefront, this international event serves as a vital platform for dialogue between different legal systems, realities, and solutions to cross-border challenges.
